The new feature lets you stream and play PC games on compatible devices outside your home. Previously, Steam Link was limited to streaming PC games over your local network at home. In the latest beta of Steam Link (build 688), Valve has added support for Steam Link Anywhere, which is exactly what the name suggests. A solution for Apple TV and iPhone/iPad has also been developed but Apple has rejected it.
The app is currently available on devices such as Samsung TVs, Android TV, and Raspberry Pi. Steam Link AnywhereValve launched Steam Link hardware in 2015 but it has since been discontinued as Valve has refocusing on making Steam Link a software-based solution. This allows you stream PC games from your PC to any compatible device at home or on the go. Valve has introduced ‘Steam Link Anywhere’ in the latest beta of Steam Link.
